Operating principles

of Control module ZET 7060-S

ZET 7060-S – stepper motor digital control module with RS-485 interface.

Digital port makes a signal for stepper motor control – a number of steps for stepper rotation and stepper motor speed is set.

For feedback communication can be used digital encoder ZET7060-E.

Stepper motor control module ZET7060-S can be used independently or within automated measuring system. ZETLAB system enables control of the module in the software “Device manager”.

Connection schemes

Based on ZETSENSOR sensors and control modules distributed measuring networks, control systems and automated equipment complexes can be established.

In order to connect measuring lines to ZETLAB and ZETVIEW systems one can use  interface converter ZET 7070 (RS-485 ↔ USB) or ZET 7076 (RS-485 ↔ Ethernet). Measuring lines can also be connected to any system using Modbus protocol via RS-485 interface.

Control modules can be supplied together with ZETSENSOR sensors for establishing feedback communication.

The figure depicts stepper motor control system with feedback communication based on stepper motor control module ZET7060-S and digital encoder ZET 7060-E, connected to ZETLAB system. Stepper motor control is performed by means of signals from ZET7060-S module and via encoder, signal from which is processed by  ZET 7060-E module. Digital encoder signals processing and program control of ZET7060-S is performed by means of ZETLAB software.
