Video-lesson: Experiment with the use of a stroboscope

In this video we would like to demonstrate you an experiment: we shall to visually detect the displacement of the controlled object which is exposed to the impact of vibration with a certain amplitude characteristic. Description of the experiment sequence is available below:

  1. For the experiment, we need: FFT Spectrum analyzer, shaker system, and a stroboscope (FFT Spectrum analyzer will allow us to set the required vibration parameters as well as to control operation of the stroboscope).
  2. The required level of the vibration is then applied to the specimen.
  3. Then the stroboscope is activated with the use of the FFT Spectrum analyzer.
  4. Upon activation of the stroboscope, it becomes possible to visually detect the displacement of the controlled object.
