PURPOSE
of the ZET 454 Switching Units
The ZET 454 switching unit switching unit improves the capabilities of ZET 452 electric circuits control devices making it possible to use those in building distributed systems for cable networks checking. The kit including ZET 454 + ZET 452 forms a single node of the system; each node is located within the electric connector concentration area. Circuit checking is performed between the points connected to different nodes (switching units).

The ZET 454 switching unit is intended for serial switching of 72 circuits of ZET 452 control devices to one of the sixteen sockets. The ZET 452 electric circuits control device is connected to a socket on the ZET 454 switching unit front panel. On the front panel of ZET 454 there also are sockets for tested device circuits connection, which is performed using the adapter harnesses.
