ZET 410 SIGNAL AMPLIFIER

A signal amplifier without galvanic separation, input: 2 differential channels, output: 2 asymmetrical channels.

The ZET 410 preamplifier is used as a signal amplifier in processing systems and various instruments and actuator control systems. It is used in industry, laboratory and mobile studies.

Both passive (resistive) sensors, and integrated-circuit sensors (compact acceleration meters, magnetic and electric field sensors, etc.) can be connected to the amplifier. The gain ratios are fixed (1, 10, 100, or 1,000) and can be selected using micro-switches on the front panel of the amplifier.

The input signal from the primary sensor (passive or active) is forwarded to the differential amplifier with switched gain ratio (GR=1, 10, 100, 1,000). From the amplifier output, the signal is fed to the input of ADC/DAC units, e.g. ZET 210. From the ADC/DAC unit outputs, the signal is transmitted to the amplifier output.

GAIN RATIOS

Galvanically separated voltage sources (VS) and current sources (CS) are used for power supply to the active and passive primary transducers, respectively.

The passive sensors include the resistive transducers, such as thermocouple-based temperature sensors or resistive-strain-sensor-based strain sensors.

The active sensors include various transducers on integrated circuits, such as acceleration sensors (accelerometers) of ADXL type by Analog Devices, magnetic field sensors by Honeywell, or pressure and temperature sensors by Freescale.

The analog sensors are connected to the Signal amplifier ZET 410 and the amplifier in its turn is connected to a FFT spectrum analyzer using terminal blocks included in the amplifier delivery scope.
