DATA QUALITY DIAGNOSTICS
in a measuring line
Data quality diagnostics in a measuring line consists in diagnostics of the digital sensor by several parameters:
- power supply quality;
- data quality;
- synchronization quality;
- sensing element status.
“Power supply quality” parameter
This parameter shows the digital sensor power supply voltage status. There are several states of the “Power supply quality” parameter:
- Not supported: the digital sensor does not have the power supply quality control function;
- Low: the digital sensor power supply voltage is below 9 V;
- Normal: the digital sensor power supply voltage is within the 9 to 24 V range;
- High: the digital sensor power supply voltage is above 24 V.
“Data quality” parameter
This parameter reports faults in the digital sensor data transmission line. There are several states of the “Data quality” parameter:
- Not supported: the digital sensor does not have the data quality control function;
- Poor: there are problems in the data transmission line. The data quality is poor, the current data cannot be trusted;
- Good: probably, there are some problems in the data transmission line. The data require revising.
- Excellent: no problems in the data transmission line.
“Synchronization quality” parameter
This parameter shows the digital sensor power synchronization status. The function is enabled only for the digital sensors using the CAN interface. There are several states of the “Synchronization quality” parameter:
- Not supported: the digital sensor does not have the synchronization quality control function;
- Poor: no synchronization. Check the GPS antenna or ZET 7175 synchronization unit;
- Good;
- Excellent.
“Sensing element status” parameter
This parameter shows the primary transducer connected to the relevant digital sensor. There are several states of the “Sensing element status” parameter:
- Not supported: the digital sensor does not have the sensing element status control function;
- Error: no sensing element is connected, it is faulty or connected improperly;
- Good: the sensing element is connected properly.
