based on ZET 7176 interface modules

Structural health monitoring system (also referred to as ESMS – engineering structures monitoring system) based on ZET 7176 interface converters enables connection of up to 32 measuring sensors to a single interface module (max data exchange speed – up to 1000 kb/s).

Implementation of systems based on ZET 7176 interface converters is an optimal solution for housing and utilities sector. It can be used for monitoring and control of buildings and structures technical condition since it enables evaluation of building’s technical state and defects detection in remote way.

ZET 7176 interface converter (Ethernet/Wi-Fi ↔ CAN 2.0) is placed inside of leak-proof case or electrical cabinet (depending on particular mounting area and design documentation requirements). The interface converter is mounted on a DIN-rail using mounting hardware, which is delivered together with the module. Next to the interface converter there is mounted a power supply module (220V → +24V) and a measuring line connector.

It is also possible to place digital sensors (laboratory version) inside of the leak-proof case. In this case the digital sensors mounted on the controlled structures are connected to the interface converters via measuring lines.

Are the key elements used within the scope of engineering structures stress-strain monitoring subsystem. They enable deformation and bending control of the controlled structures’ bearing elements.

The maximum measurements range is -1800…+1800  µm/m – it depends on sensor’s mounting technique. The minimal registered value for minimal measurements range is 0,2 µm/m.
