OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Digital seismic transducer ZET 7150 includes primary transducer integrated into measuring module, which saves expenses for intrusion systems significantly. Primary transducer receives mechanical oscillations and transduces them into analogue signal; measuring module, in its turn, digitizes analogue signal and transmits the processed data over CAN 2.0 interface.

ZET 7150 seismic transducers shall be installed around perimeter of the secured facilities. In case of illegal access into the area, in place where vibration (noise) occurs, seismic waves are formed and then spread in all directions. At the time of seismic activity, the seismometer records time and parameters of seismic wave impact, transmits the digitized data to detection logic input, and generates alarm signal in the case if danger is detected.

It should be noted that the transducer can detect vibration in only one plane, which is perpendicular to the mounting base.

INSTALLATION OF INSTRUMENT COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK

Digital seismic transducer ZET 7150 can be connected to PC over USB (transducer ZET 7174), Ethernet or Wi-Fi (transducer ZET 7176), over GSM network (transducer ZET 7177), radio channel (ZET 7172M and ZET 7172S transducers), also, operation in off-line mode is possible (autonomous recorder ZET 7173).

Number of transducers connected to ZET 7174 module is 4 maximum (external power unit is required).

For radio linked transmission, ZET 7172 modules are used in addition. The ZETLAB software supports connection of up to 200 transducers to one computer.

CONTROL

Digital seismic transducer ZET 7150 is fully ready to operate, not requiring adjustments; the settings are saved in transducer inherent memory.

To configure ZET 7150 modules, you have to set the required measurement units in «Sensor» tab, define type of result processing and measurement interval, and select conversion frequency, if needed.

DETECTION AND MONITORING SYSTEM

ZET 7150 compact seismic intrusion detector is a new solution for objects detection and monitoring systems. High-sensitivity digital transducer can be used to monitor secured areas, to restrict access for undesirable humans or animals.

Seismic transducers are installed all over the secured facility. At the moment of illegal access within the area, in place where vibration (noise) occurs, seismic waves are formed and then spread in all directions. Seismic transducers record and digitize time and parameters of seismic wave impact, which are then transmitted to detection logic input, and generates alarm signal, in case if danger is detected.

Seismic event detector adjusts the system parameters to conditions of daily and seasonal variations, providing for the system parameter adaptation to various operation conditions and  performs preliminary processing of seismic event in order to filter false response.
